Chronicles of Traveling

As much as I thought I would be able to stay committed to the 21 day health challenge my thoughts were incorrect.

I was dedicated and saw results within the first two weeks. It kept me motivated until I got to my first destination. Since having to drive daily and not being able to have a kitchen to cook in, my food supply ran out.

However, I did make good choices without eating out. I ate boring salads except the day we went to Golden corral to eat dinner and I indulged in two rolls. There’s just no way to go to Golden corral and not eat one roll.

I have to say that my smoothies came in handy! They kept me afloat and it allowed me to make overall healthy choices.

I also worked out a bit. From Kileen to Dallas. I rode the stationary bike outdoors which had me in sweats. From weight training to running, my overall vacation was steady but bit as hard as I usually push myself.

Dallas was filled with family laughter, visiting friends, driving and fun. Some visitations turned into work and some relaxation time turned into funny moments.

Then this came from my visit with powerhouse executive from Front House Management PR, Karen Michelle.

I figured, if I couldn’t stick with my 21 Day Health challenge while on vacation,

then I would at least focus in working out. So I tagged along with a friend for Camp Gladiator (CG). The warm up was intense but the moves were gladiator esq. there was a woman who had a 3 week old and was ahead of everyone. I was in awe of her but The dedication and commitment she had to keep going amazed me. She’s definitely a fitness gladiator and epitomizes the slogan of Go Hard, You are strong.

For all the inner gladiators, go hard, go strong, and keep moving. Don’t let doubts hinder you from achieving goals.

And then there was brunch.

Effortless girl talk with Karen Michelle and Vanna Collins made the experience easy breezy. Factory Glam and LADASKA MECHELLE gave away some things and people loved it.

The fashion presentation was two thumbs up with pieces from my collection and jewelry from Trudi Bell.

Family and friends enjoyed brunch from Jorge’s Tex Mex Cafe’ at One Arts Plaza in Dallas. The waterfall was streaming, the sun was shining and good people came together to support.

And it ended with Willie Johnson keeping his word to show his support and Karen and I doing an interview for her podcast on The O TV. Thank you to everyone that came out before we left.
